FormatCodes provides free, browser-based developer tools for formatting, converting, minifying, diffing, and generating code across 22+ languages. All processing happens client-side in your browser; no account or sign-up is required to use any tool.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable law, to attempt to disrupt or overload the Service (for example, through automated scraping or denial-of-service traffic), or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
Your Content
Any code, text, or files you paste or upload into a tool are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers. You retain all rights to your own content; we make no claim of ownership over anything you process using the Service.
Intellectual Property
The FormatCodes name, branding, site design, and underlying code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party analytics providers (Google Analytics and 51.la) as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services we link to or rely on.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output from any tool will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
